At the beginning of 2021 the IDEATONES CAPATEC - Reinvent yourself program was launched, the main objective of the program is to put into practice the concept of “open innovation”, the program serves as a bridge to connect real needs of anchor companies, with new or existing solutions of companies or innovative equipment.
IDEATONES was organized by the Panamanian Chamber of Information Technologies, Innovation and Telecommunications (CAPATEC), BID - Lab and had Escala Latam as a strategic partner.
IDEATONES is supported by a group of mentors (first-rate international consultants), with extensive experience in programs of this type, who provide their knowledge and experiences to innovative companies throughout the entire program.
The program was very well organized from the beginning, with a well-defined calendar, with activities that were carried out through a very friendly virtual platform, which allowed holding sessions to learn about the challenges of the anchor companies, as well as networking with other companies. .
Regarding the challenges posed by the anchor companies, a total of 33 challenges from the financial sector and 16 challenges from the logistics sector were presented.
After analyzing the challenges and taking into account our experiences and strengths, we decided to participate in two challenges in the logistics sector that caught our attention.
We made presentations, proofs of concept, presentation videos, culminating with a live presentation before the IDEATONES jury, where they had five minutes to present the solution to the challenges and two minutes to respond to the questions and comments presented by the jury .
Finally, on March 30, 2021, the awards event was held, where we were pleasantly surprised that we were one of the companies selected as winners of the first IDEATONES held in Panama. This award fills us with happiness and we wanted to share this joy with you.
